After two long years and over 30,000 miles, our beloved bus, Walter died about 10 miles outside of Palm Springs, CA. This is where he died.

We had him towed about 70 miles to Slab City next to the Salton Sea where he rests to this day.

After digging a large ramp as a burial plot, we recruited a gang of haggard hippies and manually pushed Walter into his resting place.
We converted everything inside the bus to level so that it could still be used as a guest house for our friend Charlie, who lives in Slab City and maintains a large sculpture garden.

Visitors are always welcome.
