Pink Bomb #54, ink and acrylic on paper

Pink Bomb is an animation and installation created for an exhibition reflecting on the first year of TransitAntenna's
travels. Facing the abundance of information and experiences available from our first year on the road, I decided
to focus my attention on a single moment that I felt was pivotal in our travels. Upon our arrival at the Cadillac
Ranch just outside of Amarillo, TX, and fresh off of being stung by a bee, Taylor Snead (10 years old at the time)
found a bucket of paint next to one of the cadillacs and decided to charge the car, throw the bucket, and thus
douse the cadillac in paint. The whole act took only 5 seconds.

For the exhibition, a few assistants and I made 120 unique drawings with ink and acrylic paint. At 24 frames per
second, the 120 drawings represent the 5 second event.
